Tampa-Hillsborough County Storytelling Festival: Opening Session
Wednesday March 2 at 6:30 p.m.

Calling all future storytellers! This session will include information for parents and their children to learn how to tell stories and how to be part of the Tampa-Hillsborough County Online Storytelling Festival.

Serving communities: aging services
Monday March 7 at 6 p.m.

Learn about the programs and resources available through Aging Services. This virtual session will cover assistance available in the areas of nutrition, wellness and services for active seniors in Hillsborough County. After the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions. This session is part of the “Libraries Create Communities” initiative.

Ruskin Women: 3 generations of leadership in an evolving community
Tuesday March 8 at 6:30 p.m.

Join presenter Charles Nelson in this program about three generations of Ruskin women who have provided leadership in an ever-changing community. There are three distinct eras in Ruskin’s history over the past 114 years. By examining this history through the lens of gender, especially appropriate during this year’s Women’s History Month, participants can understand the unique contributions that women have made to the history of the community.
